Probably my most ambitious experimental short animation to date!
My goal was to create a cohesive 2D "machine-meets-handmade" aesthetic across all elements, while playing with cyberpunk/ cypherpunk themes.
Created using Blender's Grease Pencil, and integrated with 3D objects, 3D rigs, and procedural geometry node tools. All grease pencil layers (100+ in total) were hand-drawn. 🖋
Learned a f*@#-ton in the process, and developed a bunch of techniques to boost efficiency & creativity for the next one.
Original character inspired by "Yield Farmer" class from the Cyberbrokers IP (https://www.cyberbrokers.com/).
